RS Hydro have recently secured a contract with Cemex, the UK’s leading supplier of cement and aggregates, that involves the supply, installation and maintenance of 250+ flow monitoring sites across the country. It is believed to be the largest contract of its type in Europe, and its inception lead directly from the recent developments in the Water Framework Directive (WFD), Environmental Permitting Regulations (EPR) and MCERTS. The new legislation is creating challenges for businesses across a wide range of industrial sectors and is driving the need to monitor activities regulated by Environmental Permits.
